We knew it would be a challenge to find a home for two dogs. It was even more difficult knowing that home couldn’t have any other dogs. Misty and Maverick came to us confused and full of anxiety from all of the uncertainty in their previous lives. Thanks to a patient foster home who gave them time to decompress and gain some confidence we gradually saw their personalities emerge. We waited patiently and finally, an inquiry came in. It was perfect and we’re so happy for this pair. Congratulations to this handsome new family!

Meet Misty, a beautiful 8 year old Siberian Husky who’s ready to find a forever home. Misty will be placed in a home with her son, Maverick, where they will need to be the only dogs. No cats or other small animals. Misty came to us from a shelter with her son, Maverick.

When they arrived this pair was very stressed and had very little trust. We took our time and let them decompress and gradually saw their personalities emerge. They are now much more relaxed and confident and enjoy people and children. They have attended public events and we feel it’s time to look for a home where their happiness will be a priority. They thrive on gentle, loving attention and will be a great addition for the right home. Due to their escape potential, we will be looking for a home with older children and a secure yard.
