Bailey scored a forever home! This gorgeous girl is now loved and cared for where her sweet personality is appreciated and treasured. Congratulations to Bailey and her new family!

Meet Bailey, a five year old Husky who is looking for her forever home. This beautiful girl doesn’t ask for much and seems to be grateful for whatever is offered. She came to us from an overcrowded local shelter where she was very frightened and didn’t understand why she was there. She has adjusted well in her foster home and her sweet personality is emerging. She doesn’t object to her canine foster siblings but she prefers to be left alone. Playing is not a priority for her so we feel she’d be happiest as an only dog or perhaps with an older dog that is content to give her the peace and space she is the most comfortable with. She loves people and the vet team that met her was impressed with how gentle and cooperative she was for her initial evaluation. Bailey has a very strong prey drive and should not be placed with cats or other small critters. Yard supervision will be necessary to make sure there are no critter casualties while she’s outside! Bailey has a longer coat that is in very poor condition with significant matting. It’s a work in progress and she has an appointment with a professional groomer to help us manage that. Her adopter will need to be vigilant about maintaining her coat condition which should include periodic professional grooms. We are very sure that this girl will thrive in a quiet home that has a sofa and a lot of love. One look at her sweet face and we know you’ll be in love!
