ADOPTED – Sasha – Siberian Husky Mix

UPDATE: ADOPTED! This spunky senior mix found herself a forever family! Sasha needed an adopter that was able to provide a yard that keeps Sasha where she belongs. This stealthy escape artist is doing well with her canine siblings and is loved by all. Congratulations to Sasha and her new pack!

Meet Miss Sasha, a 10 year old that is looking for a new place to land. This lovely lady is a compact 40lbs that still loves to go for daily brisk walks and will need an adopter that’s able to keep up with her. As with most seniors, Sasha is content to nap after her adventures. She could possibly be placed with another dog of similar size that would respect her space. Sasha would like to be in charge but enjoys a good play session with her canine foster sibling. She could be an only dog as long as there were sufficient opportunities for play. Sasha will definitely choose her next canine companion so meetings will be necessary. No small dogs or cats, please!

Sasha has been left up for 4-5 hours at a time and is trustworthy in the house as long as there aren’t temptations within her reach. She’s very treat motivated and knows sit, paw, and down. This girl has a big personality and knows what she wants in life! Sasha would be a great option for an adult adopter looking for a somewhat laid-back dog that still has some energy. She’ll be a great exercise plan for her human! Sasha will need an adopter who is able to keep her safe at home. In true Husky form, she is quite skilled at escapes and unsupervised adventures!
